Panagiotis Chalkias has obtained a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Athens in 2009, a Master of Laws in Economic Law from the University of Geneva in 2010 and an LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and the University of Geneva in 2011. He became a member of the Athens Bar in 2012 and has been registered with the Brussels Bar since 2013.
Prior to joining the firm, Panagiotis Chalkias has worked as legal consultant at the World Intellectual Property Organization Arbitration and Mediation Center in Geneva and as a trainee lawyer at Nikolaos Chalkias & Partners in Athens.
Mr. Chalkias joined the firm as an associate in 2012. He regularly acts as administrative secretary or assistant to tribunals in international commercial and investment arbitrations, both ad hoc and under a wide variety of institutional rules (e.g. ICC, SIAC, ICSID, CRCICA, UNCITRAL), spanning various industry sectors.
Panagiotis Chalkias is a native speaker of Greek, fluent in English and French and conversant in Spanish.
